On Easter Sunday, many enjoy a lovely pastel decorated brunch. Easter brunch is special with the start of spring and the focus on religious celebrations. For myself, being in a European Catholic family, Easter is just as important as Christmas and we celebrate over several days.
On Sunday, we have a traditional brunch with foods as symbols to our faith. As an example, we have hot cross buns with the cross and eggs for new life.
For your brunch gathering, you can bring in symbolic foods or enjoy a mix with new foods foods like frittata, quiche, scones with clotted cream and mimosas! Easter is a celebration of rebirth, renewal and life. Keep that the focus on your décor, food and intentions for the morning and the beginning of the fresh new season.
