“Kid, you’ll move mountains!” This is something we wish for each of our children to do. Every one carries a special talent, uniqueness and purpose to contribute to a path of growth and success in life. For an inspirational idea, a tradition has started in many families with “Oh, the Places You’ll Go” book by Dr. Seuss, to be given to the child upon their graduation. Encouraging messages of all the teachers of your child along the way, is a very special gift to receive at the end of their school years. It is quite thoughtful, that will hit the heart in a big way.
Sharon from Mama Chit Chat has started this idea with her daughter with each of her teachers.
“Last year I started a new tradition with Sarah’s school teacher. For every year Sarah is in school I will have her teacher write a short message to Sarah. When Sarah graduates elementary school or even middle school I’ll present her with this special book.”
