Grandma’s Luncheon

Everyone loves Grandma. At least that is what I usually hear from children. Grandmothers are very important and special people that enrich our lives with wisdom, patience and love. It is a wonderful gift of time, to have an afternoon to celebrate them with a High Tea party that Mama Bears Kitchen prepares. Or Kirsten from The Crafting Chicks,  planning a monthly Grandma’s Luncheon event. Here is her story to share…

“On the same Tuesday every month, my girl cousins and our moms gather together at Grandma’s house or the park and have a luncheon. This has been going on for about 8 years now. We started it because all the girl cousins wanted OUR kids to able to spend more time with grandma. I love this family tradition more than anything. Family traditions build family ownership. I am always looking to make sure we are carrying out family traditions. This is one of my very favorites. I hope Grandma is around for another 10-20 years so we can soak up every bit of her, she’s amazing…a woman the world should model themselves after…”
